By forming of the Centre for Increasing Competitiveness in Border Region, conditions should be created for acquiring new knowledge, technologies and skills for small and medium sized enterprises, with the aim of increasing their competitive abilities, strengthening economic development and improving overall quality of life of the communities in the border region.

The project is financed by the European Union within the Romania-Republic of Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation, managed by the Ministry for Development, Public Worsk and Housing Construction – the Directorate for International Territorial Cooperation of the Republic of Romania and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia, as the National Coordinators. The project is implemented by the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Požarevac. The project value is EUR 381.354.

Project duration is 12 months, from 28.12.2010. until 28.12.2011.
